Aunty's appeal for a new fridge for Saskboy

Saskboy missed out on winning a replacement for his very ugly refrigerator.

Surely there must be someone in close proximity to Saskboy who has a spare refrigerator that is more attractive than his current abomination - and it wouldn't take much to be more attractive.

I know there is some benevolent soul out there who can help.

Don't let Aunty down.

Updates

Still no sign of the great nephew. Could be that I am just not in the loop.

Or it could be because I am a big...

Loooozah!

I lost the election. No worries. It gives me time to raise hell elsewhere - and there is no shortage of hell for me to raise.

I am not a patient woman

And when I say I am not a patient woman, I mean, I am not a patient woman.

(Where would I be if I didn't have dubya quotes to butcher?)

Anyway, back to my lack of patience.

I am suffering on two fronts right now.

Firstly, as you know, because my dreadfully inconsiderate neice has not, as yet, bothered to produce my long over-due great nephew (I do at least know it is a nephew).

Secondly, I am running in an election of sorts, and I am impatiently waiting to find out if I am a weener or a loozah.

I don't wait well. Now those unfortunate few who check out my blog get to suffer too.

That's one big-ass can of Whup-Ass!

I've been waiting a long time for this one.

Keith Olberman opens up on Bush and gives him just what he deserves.

Go check it out at Crooks and Liars

Rice thanks Canadians for 9/11 response

U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has thanked Canadians for helping stranded passengers after the 9/11 attacks, calling it a sign of the friendship between the countries as she visits Nova Scotia.
I'm sure a thank you would have meant something to me had it come from Bush during the speach where he thanked the rest of the world for all of the help and support the US received that day. A thank you from Condi 5 years after the fact is more like a slap in the face.

I have to wonder: "What do they want that we haven't already given?"

It's not like Stevie doesn't have his head all the way up Bush's Ass saying, "anything you want master. All that isn't mine is yours"

Your thoughts...?

Waiting impatiently

Apparently, I am due to become a great auntie any minute.

My neice is very due.

I hate waiting.

Gone but not forgotten

Well, it has been a very long time since I have posted.

I took off with Pete and Repete for a month of vacation and when I returned, most of the bloggers that I read regularly had packed it in.

Let's play a little catchup.

The house sold and we moved to one to better enable us to feed our Playland addiction.

We used some of the proceeds to fund four weeks in Central America for the two big boys and me (our first vacation in eight years).

Work continues to play a major role in my life thanks to that irritating need to put a roof over the head and food on the table.

The world has gone to shit in a handbag.

My very sweet, very old puppy dog no longer had any quality of life or dignity left and I had to put him down. My house is a very, very empty place and my heart has a very large hole in it.

Things I have learned:

I am a very, very safe driver. If you don't believe me, take a trip to Central America.

30 hours on a bus in mexico is more comfortable than 5 hours on an airplane.

Central America is easily travelled with just a 30 litre daypack (no need to check baggage).

I can live for a month without the internet.

I will have to post more later - I have been invited out.
